Announced by CEO Ellen Kinney, Ludovico Bruno - founder of Mordecai and former head of Moncler Genius - has been appointed to lead the Canadian brand Moose Knuckles. He will be joined by Raif Adelberg as the new Design Director.

Known for its luxury outerwear and ready-to-wear, Moose Knuckles announces a new strategic phase with the appointment of Ludovico Bruno as Global Creative Director and Raif Adelberg as Design Director. Under the leadership of CEO Ellen Kinney, the two will steer the brand as it continues to evolve from its Canadian roots, built on craftsmanship, culture, and contemporary design. "Ludovico combines technical precision, creative instinct, and a refined luxury sensibility. His work bridges craftsmanship and modernity, allowing us to evolve our aesthetic language while remaining true to our roots - Canadian in spirit, global in vision, and bold in identity," said Kinney. "Raif complements this vision with his deep understanding of design and cultural storytelling. Together, they represent a powerful synergy of creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship that will guide the brand into its next era."

In his new role, Ludovico Bruno will oversee the brand&rsquo;s overall creative direction, guiding seasonal collections, collaborations, campaigns, and visual storytelling. Bruno, who has served as a consultant for Moose Knuckles since 2024, has already helped refine the brand&rsquo;s aesthetic by introducing sharper silhouettes and innovative materials that balance luxury and functionality.

Bruno brings with him extensive experience in international luxury fashion. As the founder and Creative Director of Mordecai, a Milan-based label recognized by Vogue Italia, Business of Fashion, and WWD, he has merged refined tailoring with contemporary precision. Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Moncler, contributing to the brand&rsquo;s transformation into a global force in luxury outerwear. There, he oversaw the Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu lines - in collaboration with Giambattista Valli and Thom Browne, respectively - and played a key role in the Moncler Genius project alongside designers such as Craig Green, Simone Rocha, and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Raif Adelberg, as Design Director, brings over twenty years of design experience and a distinguished career in both Canadian and international fashion. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Hawaii and California, Adelberg founded and directed brands such as wings+horns, Maison Fran&ccedil;ois Marie, and HER_MAN, cultivating an aesthetic rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and individuality. He is also the founder of Richard Kidd, a Vancouver concept store that helped define contemporary Canadian luxury, and has collaborated with global brands including St&uuml;ssy, Comme des Gar&ccedil;ons, Buscemi, Undefeated, and Herschel Supply Co., where he oversaw bag and accessory design.
